about us
once upon a time there were two longtime friends who finally found themselves in the same town at the same time. after a great deal of thought, the two friends decided that they would say good-bye to their free-time, hello to their free-dom and open up a stationery store. one day one friend said to the other, "you know, i think my little sister might be a good addition to this partnership." the other friend replied, "well...she did come up with part of our name. let's ask her." the two friends approached the little sister, who had her head in her books (as usual), and the little sister said, "why not!" in december of 2004 the three ladies went to work and opened pulp papery in april 2005.
as time passed, families grew and job opportunities presented themselves...things (as they often do) changed at pulp papery. once a trio of gals, the head honcho is now performing a solo act which, is made possible by her crafty, inspirational and dedicated staff. it was very important to the three ladies that pulp papery remain with one of the original owners and so the little sister took the reins. while she may be running things on her own, she never forgot the opportunity she was given and still runs the store based on the tenets which has continued to make pulp papery a success: great customer service, quality products and creativity.
most want to know, "how did the story end?" fear not, the friends are still friends and the sisters are still sisters. in fact, once in a while you will find the three of them tucked away in a neighborhood hangout. just look for the table with two brunettes and a blonde, listen for some classic rock playing on the jukebox and loud laughing, some crying and a lot of love.
